UCL Polo Club has roots dating back to 1988 when students from University College London Riding Club entered a team in Peter Grace's Inter-University Tournament. The following year, a University of London team was entered leading to the formation of a team which went on to win at the highest levels of university polo both nationally and internationally as well as being able to boast HRH Princess Anne as its president.
